AMTF – New York Pt. 2!

Hey guys! I’m finally coming out with my AMTF – New York Pt. 2! It’s been, what, almost a month since I was there, but still 😀

(Please note – I wrote this next part when I was actually in NYC 😛 )

Bello! It’s currently 9:02am as I write this sentence in the bathroom of our hotel, trying to be as quiet as possible to respect the sleeping persons.

Yesterday was a busybusy day and I didn’t get to write last night. Anyway, let’s just get on with the post!

Chapter 5 – Times Square

IMG_0888

Here it is!! Busy, busy Times Square!

IMG_0890

Here she is, folks! The Statue of Liberty!! 😛 Just kidding, it’s just a person dressed up as her 🙂 There were a lot of people parading around in costumes (the Hulk, Minnie + Mickey Mouse, Elmo, etc.)

IMG_0895

Lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of people!

IMG_0909

Guess what this is! It’s the Time Square made out of cookies! It’s completely edible!

Chapter 6 – Charmin, Charmin, Charmin!

Okay. This was officially the weirdest experience of my life. Ready?

IMG_0911

It’s a Charmin Store!!!! At least…that’s what it looks like from the outside…

I was expecting a store completely devoted to toilet paper. They would have just aisles and aisles of different types of toilet paper. That was strange enough.

It was actually just a ton of bathrooms!! They had the fancy waiting aisles with actual employees in Charmin uniforms telling you which extravagent bathroom to go to. I was so confused…the woman told me to enjoy my bathroom experience…

Some of the restrooms had gold toilets and red drapes and things like that – wooooow.

Enough talk about this…

Before I move on, I need to capture this magical Charmin bear. It’s Santa Charmin with his loads of presents for the children on Christmas Day…I think…they didn’t have a sign…

Chapter 7 – Columbus Circle Holiday Market!

IMG_0948

Welcome to the Columbus Circle Holiday Market! An outdoor market where they sell all sorts of knickknacks and thumbtacks!

IMG_0918

It was really busy in there! There were New Yorkers, travelers, and foreigners. I heard a mix of different languages and accents there; it was pretty cool 😀

IMG_0922

IMG_0925

This is just one of the many, many jewelry sellers. This was Tibetan jewelry. There was jewelry from Laos, regular jewelry, and so much more! It was all really pretty!

IMG_0927

These are framed photographs of a photographer. I couldn’t capture the whole stand because there were people in the way, but by just looking at half the photos is nice.

IMG_0935

I was really interested in this one! I’d never seen anything like it! Recycled restaurant chopsticks that were cleaned and dyed different colors to make collapsable baskets!

IMG_0938

Here are some clothes that were in the market. They were beautiful and very original, unlike anything you would ever see at the mall.

Chapter 8 – Indoor Market (Mostly Chocolate)

IMG_0951

Here’s a picture of the indoor market from the outside! It was busy in there, too.

IMG_0959

This is inside a Williams Sonoma store. They sold the bestest hot chocolate in the whole wide world!!!! It was, like, shaved chocolate instead of powdered or something…made on the stove…I don’t know, but the samples were amazing! 😛

IMG_0956

Haha yep pictures of the hot chocolate some more…

IMG_0961

And I’m not usually a fan of hot cocoa! I’d usually pass it up, but this one was especially tasty!

And that concludes the second full day at NYC. It was fantabulous!

Thanks for reading!

To more adventures!
