Finding Power From Philippians

Yes! It’s Monday! Time to start a new week all refreshed from the weekend 🙂 Today is also Motivational Monday! Here’s a few Bible verses from Philippians that I really found comfort in.

Enjoy ~

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me ~ Philippians 4:13

And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus ~ Philippians 4:19

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guards your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus ~ Philippians 4:6-7

There we go! Finding power from Philippians! I really like these verses because they reassure that God strengthens, God provides, God understands, and God guards. I hope you’ve found some encouragement or peace in this post! 😀

Here’s a question I would love to know the answer to:

From which book in the Bible do you draw the most inspiration and strength from?

I wish you good luck and give you a great big hug through this post as you start your new week!

The grace of Lord Jesus Christ be with your Spirit ~ Philippians 4:23

Famous Friday – A Hero’s Guide

Hey guys! It’s Famous Friday! End of the week – a weekend ahead. For me, weekends are the perfect time to curl up with a book under a blanket with a yummy snack, so today I’m going to review one of the books on my favorites list! But keep in mind, my Favorite Book List is very, very, very, very loooooooooooooooooooong. So never ask me what my favorite book is.

Anyway, on with the show! Enjoy ~

hero's guide

Prince Liam. Prince Frederic. Prince Duncan. Prince Gustav. You’ve never heard of them, have you? These are the princes who saved Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Snow White, and Rapunzel, respectively, and yet, thanks to those lousy bards who wrote the tales, you likely know them only as Prince Charming. But all of this is about to change.

Rejected by their princesses and cast out of their castles, the princes stumble upon an evil plot that could endanger each of their kingdoms. Now it’s up to them to triumph over their various shortcomings, take on trolls, bandits, dragons, witches, and other assorted terrors, and become the heroes no one ever thought they could be.

The Hero’s Guide to Saving a Kingdom is the first of the three books in the Hero’s Guide series. It’s a laugh-out-loud comedy book that, while not being Pride and Prejudice literature level, is still a good read to cheer you up and fill in what’s missing from the fairy tales, explaining what exactly is a happily ever after and what happens after?

I’ve read this series, I don’t know, twenty times? It’s fun to flip through it once in a while and amuse myself with the hilarious antics of these princes and princesses. Even though it’s not great literature, the language is clean, the plot is cunning, and each character has a set personality that’s way, way, different from everyone else’s and you find that maybe the happily ever after you expect isn’t always the one that ends up being the greatest ending.

So that’s the Hero’s Guide to Saving a Kingdom! I recommend it if you’re a fairy tale/fantasy lover like me and are searching for a book that has a comedy twist and a bit of a different ending than you’re used to.

Check it out and see if you like it! If you do, comment below and if you’ve read it, also comment below and tell me what you think of it!

Introducing Famous Friday!

Hi everyone! I hope your weeks are going great! I’ve been pretty busy this week with cramming all my studies into the last minute, cleaning my bedroom, and trying to find my phone (yes, I lost it 😳 )

Anyway, so in my Starting a Series post I told you all about Fabulous Friday! Well, this past Friday I was thinking really hard for an idea of what to write about. Dancing tips? Not really working. So….I decided to switch it up!

Introducing…Famous Friday! 😀

Famous Friday – I’ll be doing a review on some of my favorite books or movies! For those of you who don’t know me very well, I LOVE to read. I don’t watch TV very often, but I do like to watch movies with my family (when I have time 😛 )

And a quick question to my readers (please answer in the comments) to get to know you better 🙂  –

What’s your favorite TV show?

So that just about wraps up this post! I hope you guys have a wonderful week!

Hi guys! It’s Monday – The start of a new week. That also means it’s….

MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY!!

I have a few quotes that I hope you guys will enjoy. They’re all anonymous, but that doesn’t mean they’re not valid! Enjoy ~

If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it – Anonymous

F.E.A.R has 2 meanings – Forget Everything And Run OR Face Everything And Rise. The choice is yours – Anonymous

Never quit. If you stumble, get back up. Whatever happened yesterday no longer matters. Today is another day to get back on track and move closer to your goals. Don’t think about what can happen in a month. Don’t think about what can happen in a year. Focus on the 24 hours in front of you and do what you can to get closer to where you want to be – Anonymous

When it rains, look for rainbows. When it’s dark, look for stars – Anonymous

There we have it! I hope these quotes have somewhat inspired you! I know they have for me. Good luck on this week and I pray that God will be with you and through this post I give you a giant hug!

Till next time ~
